Program Highlight : Diabetes Education Workshops

We're excited to announce that we've launched a series of hands-on nutrition workshops designed for individuals battling diabetes. The workshops, held every Tuesday throughout February, promote healthy eating and provide guidelines on how to control blood sugar levels.

Program Highlight : Our Meals

Our meals program improves our clients' quality of life, health, and ability to perform daily activities. Along with lunch, dinner and a snack, we deliver a message reminding our sick neighbors that they are not alone in their struggle with life-threatening illness.

Pasta with Broccoli, Edamame, and Walnuts!
Edamame are whole soybeans. They are high in fiber and have a nutty flavor. Look for them with the frozen vegetables in the supermarket. If you cannot find them, you can use peas or lima beans instead.
