INDIVIDUALS
Generous individual donors have steadfastly supported Community Servings since our founding in 1990. They buy pies every Thanksgiving during Pie in the Sky, our annual bake sale; attend special events; make monthly donations; purchase tickets and sponsor tables for LifeSavor, our annual spring gala; and take a place at The Chef's Table, our leadership giving program.
Hundreds of individual donors contributed to Community Servings' 2005-2007 Capital Campaign. We then leveraged their support to secure a $400,000 Kresge Foundation challenge grant. Thanks to these generous gifts -- the largest of which was $500,000 and the smallest $1.97 -- Community Servings owns 18 Marbury Terrace free and clear, with no mortgage.
